What is a French Drain?

French drains are simple trenches about 6 inches to 24 inches wide and 10 inches to 24 inches deep. We can help you excavate a trench, line it with a specialized filter fabric. A 4 inch perforated pipe is placed in the bottom of the newly excavated trench. We will then fill the trench with washed gravel. Surface water will drain through this gravel and run through the pipe to a water runoff location on your property.
